Bought some bits of furniture from Fashion House (not a whole package), but the quality and service were excellent.

I e-mailed photos of what I wanted (from an Argos catalogue or something), beds, bedside tables, dining table and chairs.

Mr Hamed sent me back a price, which I thought was very reasonable (obviously not Argos price, but not Argos quality either !!)

I met with Mr Hamed and Mr Walid when I was in Sharm, and paid a deposit.

They were both a joy to deal with, both with excellent English and business attitude.

The furniture was delivered and installed and I am really pleased with it all - they even modified one of the pieces because I had got the sizes a bit wrong.

Overall, excellent service and products, very good people to deal with.

i met with Mohamed and Walid in january, (boy do they regret that now!!)

i liked their attitude, price, quality of products, speed with getting things moving and after care (i am kept up to date on how things are going)
they are in the process of furnishing it now.
walid has said he will wait for my arrival in 2 weeks so we can go pick out exactly what kind of accessories i want (he obviously understands the needs of a fussy woman!)

as soon as i can i will post pictures of the finished article.

my aparment looks great and i am very pleased that they made it feel like a home.
there were a few things that i have asked to be changed in the bedroom which Walid will do while i am away.

Louise and I met with the 2 guys of Fasion House and found them very professional. We were taken to their factory to see the quality of the materials that they use for the furniture and it is very good quality oak faced blockboard. I am a carpenter by trade but now work as a construction site manager specialising in kitchen and bathroom showrooms for a large UK retail store. I had designed my own furniture and took along drawing for the guys to look at and to give me their views. It was very clear that these guys know the industry and my designs were slightly altered to accommodate certain issues that were unknown to myself. Their showroom also had some lovely lounge furniture on display and also some very nice soft furnishings. Unfortunately we did not decide to go with Fashion House as a competitors quote was a lot different from theirs. I would have no hesitations in using their services though if the price was right. I dont know if the Fashion House team read these forums, but if you do I would like to say a big thank you for your time.

Our experience of Fashion House was not great,  the best of a bad bunch.

The quality was good but the service was a poor experience, with many delays broken promises, poor communication and testing of the installation especially water heaters. And the after service is non existent.

I would only recommend them for Kitchen work they did.

Sorry to hear you had a poor experience.

I was surprised to hear you say "best of a bad bunch" have you worked with all the others?

We were very pleased with our package from another supplier and get great aftercare so I can assure you there are good people out there. I won't mention the supplier on this thread as it is just for Fashion House and would be unfair to advertise others on their thread.

We sign contracts with our clients and our delivery date is always in the right time (even there is any daily we inform our clients for something happened out our hands like conference in Sharm  so the life stop in sham not only our work

Our factory and office location are well known here in Sharm so you can find us daily as per the working time

Please note that there is some problems belongs to the white goods installing coming through the constructions problems not through the white goods it self like problems of washing machine the tube where is the water of washing machine have to go out after washing is full of cement we clean it but by the usage of the washing machine the problem come again so we do our best but you have to check with the maintenance   team

Same problem belongs to the water heater

The normal bottle water heater which is most used here in Egypt need normal water
Pressure because it takes around 15 to 20 m to make the water worm for shower

The small fast water heater which is new for usage here in Egypt need strong water pressure cause it takes just around  3 to 5 m to make the water worm for shower

So when some body  ask for fast one and  we advice about this point and the client need the small one cause it just only looks nice and then the water pressure not strong enough and there is no warm water cause the small water heater not working so it is problem belongs to the resort where are you staying

Also same problem belongs to the electricity when you switch on the all white goods in the property in the same time ( air-conditions oven hob heater  washing machine ) and then there is problems with the light on the property and white goods because the wires for the electricity which they are fitted in the wall with the constructions are not strong enough to make all the white goods working in the same time so it is problem belongs to the resort not to us

Our quality for the wooden work it is well known for everybody and we are the only company who takes the clients for free visit to our factory to see the work before you buy form us the furniture

We use natural solid wood not M D F wood which not the right kind of wood for hot place like Sharm el sheik

By delivery our packages the client gets the grantee for all white goods just in case facing any problems

For our wooden work which is made in our factory we have one year grantee

About our after sales services we offer our clients the salutation for most the problems which they are facing through our team and we do our best to mange to solve problems for clients which sometimes not belongs to us and our work

We are happy that most of our clients there is between us and them like nice friendship so we keep in touch and we assist them in different things sometimes not belongs to our work

For testing of in stallions we offering our clients nice in stallion with nice different styles of decoration like we made before African and Egyptian style and by the way our technical support have high study for design and decoration and you can this through meeting with us if you have some ideas belongs to you we discuss it with you and create new designs for you handmade in the same time of our meeting with you so we have the know how of our work 

At the end even there is something happened in the property out of our control we offer you to contact us and we check where the problems is and we will sort them out for you

We appreciate the feedback of our clients to see the weak point in our services and do our best to improve our services to make more clients happy

Hi

Thanks to Mohamed and Walid who have now supplied our furniture package. We originally had the developers package which as many will be aware was appaling. After two attempts by the developer we eventually got it all ripped out and Fashion House came to the rescue and agreed to replace our furniture package with the white goods remaining from the developer. It was apleasure to return to the apt with a proper kitchen installed and decent solid furniture which included a few extras free gratis. Mohamed remained in contact with us for the full two weeks even phoning one day just to ask how we were getting on. I have no complaints about this company only praise and would recommend them. Thanks Mohamed and Walid.

Fashion House did our bedroom furniture, a patio box seat and a TV stand for us and we are very pleased with the end results. It is very important to write down specific requirements , exact sizes, types of shelves in the wardrobes, colour , finish and also types of handles for doors so there is no misunderstanding.The more detail you give them the better it is. This will mean that you will get what you expected and not what you ordered.
When we were in Sharm we did this and Mohammed was excellent in delivering our requests.He was there himself with the workmen in order to check the quality and finish of the work. He checked with us every step that we were happy. He also kept in touch, always phoned to say when they would arrive and arrived on time.
Walid and Mohammed are trying very hard to provide a timely and best service for their customers despite having various local situations with conferences, closed roads,religious holidays, workers turned back etc.
I would not hesitate to recommend them and would certainly use their services again.Pictures of our furniture are on the Fashion House Website in the Naama View Resort section.

I really can't recommend Fashion House enough!!

We stupidly accepted the Sierra Developers package 18 months ago and in March when we were staying over in Sharm we saw one of the developers packages! We nearly threw in the towell at that point and sold our unfinished apartment. After 2 weeks ruined holiday and some prety loud exchanges with Mr Alaa from Sierra we were given a tiny proportion of our furniture package money back (apparently due to exchange rates even though we paid in in Sterling and wanted it back in sterling??).

We were introduced to Mohamed from Fashion house while still in Sharm and within 2 hours were so happy that we had met him. His professional and curtious approach to our problem was fantastic, no 'slagging off' the competition just a very good introduction to their company including a tour of the place where they build the furniture, a good look at some completed work, and then a very refreshing meeting to discuss our requirements.

As we were on sierra Mohamed had a good idea what we would need and showed us some ideas of furniture that we might like - it was all fantastic so we took his advice in some areas as to what to have.

Mohamed was very easy to get on with and understood how much of our holiday had already been spent trying to sort out Sierra Management (Anyone having experienced this would probably agree) so he didn't chase us or pester us for the rest of our stay and we agreed to meet up on our last day to sign contracts and pay half the money - which we did willingly still remembering the developers package we had seen!!

We came back to the UK and were contacted by Mohamed after a couple of weeks as there were electrical problems in the apartment that Sierra needed to fix - Mohamed arranged most of this directly with Sierra Management off his own back and we didn't need to get involved (We also had Sharm Holiday Homecare looking out for us).

Once the electricity was sorted Fashion House set to installing all the excellent quality furniture. There were a couple of problems like the bathroom wall not having enough bricks in it to support the boiler and some broken tiles around the kitchen window which needed Ourselves, Fashion House and Sharm Holiday Homecare to shake the Sierra Managers to get fixed but once this was done Mohamed was able to finish off the Apartment.

It's now ready to rent out - looks absolutely fantastic - excellent quality furniture and finish, just a shame that we're not going to be living in it!! If we hand't met Mohamed I think we'd still be arguing with Sierra about the developers package (just in case you haven't seen the original developers kitchen think whitewashed driftwood and 6 inch nails).
